Our pledge
We want Tessero to be a welcoming project for everyone, whatever their background, identity, experience or level of knowledge. We pledge to make participation harassment-free and to act in ways that build an open, diverse and healthy community.
Expected behaviour
- Be respectful and kind, including when you disagree.
- Give and accept constructive, specific feedback about work, not people.
- Assume good faith. Ask before assuming.
- Credit others' work.
- Take responsibility for mistakes and learn from them.
Unacceptable behaviour
- Harassment, intimidation, or discriminatory jokes and language.
- Personal attacks, insults, or sustained disruption of discussion.
- Publishing others' private information without explicit permission.
- Sexualised language or imagery, and unwelcome attention of any kind.
- Any conduct that would reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.
Scope
This code applies in all project spaces (repository, issue tracker, chat, events) and when someone represents the project elsewhere.
Reporting and enforcement
Report incidents privately to the maintainers listed in MAINTAINERS.md. All
reports are reviewed promptly and kept confidential. Maintainers who are
involved in a report recuse themselves.
Maintainers may respond with a private warning, a public warning, a temporary ban, or a permanent ban, in proportion to the behaviour and its impact. They explain their decision to the people involved.
